## Description

This is a Category 6 Cable in Black, in a length of 305m. Suitable for outdoor use, this Cat6 cable can provide dependable network connectivity over a length of 305m, and is encased in a durable sheathe to maintain performance.

Category 6 cable, commonly referred to as Cat6, is a cable standard for Gigabit Ethernet and other network protocols that are backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards. Compared with Cat-5 and Cat-5e, Cat-6 features more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise. The cable standard provides performance of up to 250 MHz.

This cable consists of 8 colour coded 24 AWG polyethylene insulated conductors, twisted together to form 4 pairs with varying lay lengths. These pairs are then formed around a central ‘X’ shaped polyethylene filler to maintain and enhance cable performance.
