The Homey Pro is a smart-home hub, offering a broad range of connectivity and scripting options to seamlessly integrate a variety of smart home products into a single ecosystem. In addition to embedded dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, Homey's Pro Hub natively supports Matter, Thread and Zigbee, and offers scripting and flow automations for any connected smart device for truly automated smart home installation.

The Homey Pro Smart Hub represents an easy way to seamlessly link together different devices from smart home brands to form a single cohesive smart installation; thanks to its broad range of connectivity options and compatibilities, the Homey Pro Hub is compatible with over 50,000 devices from over 1000 brands such as  Shelly, Bold, Sonos, Philips, Dyson Spotify and more, as well as voice-activated Smart Assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. This new generation of Homey Pro hub represents an upgrade on every aspect of the previous Homey, featuring increased CPU speed, wireless range, RAM and storage for quicker operational speed, support for more apps and more powerful scripting and automations.

The Homey Pro runs entirely on-site for minimal latency and processes all commands and scripts locally, so isn't affected by drops in internet connection; it's also capable of communicating with LAN-only devices like Google Chromecast, and supports local storage backups to Macs or PCs with roll-back functions.

Scripts and routines can be achieved either with Homey's Advanced Flow technology, an instantly intuitive flowchart-style drag-and-drop interface, or for advanced users the Pro Hub utilises a Web API to create custom scripts using JavaScript.
