The Seagate Skyhawk ST6000VX009 is a 6TB hard drive, optimised for use in video analytics and IP surveillance systems. Designed for use with a Network Video Recorder (NVR), the ST6000VX009 offers a reliable storage solution for IP surveillance footage.

The Seagate SkyHawk ST6000VX009 is optimised for use with NVRs such as the UNVR, able to store up to 6TB of surveillance footage. Unlimited drive bays are supported, as well as a 256MB cache for speedy operation.

The hard drive can support a workload of up to 180TB per year, features a SATA6 interface and can support up to 64 HD cameras as well as delivering zero dropped frames due to its ImagePerfect AI support. Built-in RV sensors are included, allowing the ST6000VX009 to maintain its performance in multi-bay systems for effortless scalability.

Also included is SkyHawk Health Management, a sophisticated suite of data security and reliability protocols that focus on prevention, intervention and recovery.
