The HPE Networking Instant On SG2505P (S0G34A) is a five-port 2.5G secure gateway, featuring  five RJ45 ports including two configurable WAN/LAN links for network resilience, a suite of built-in network security features like IDS/IPS and VPN, and up to 60W PoE+ budget. The SG2505P can be remotely monitored and managed and offers growing businesses affordable, reliable multi-gig network connectivity.

HPE Network Instant On's SG2505P, like the smaller SG1004, is a gateway featuring a suite of built-in security and VPN protocols. The SG2505P is engineered to be incorporated into more demanding networks, featuring 5 x RJ45 ports with 2 x multi-gig ports, 2 x switchable WAN/LAN ports and up to 64W PoE+ budget to support compatible devices like access points, VoIP phones and IP surveillance cameras.

To maintain security, the SG2505P features IDS/IPS to detect unauthorised network intrusion, a stateful firewall with policy-based traffic control to prevent cyber-threats, and cloud-based management to configure and monitor traffic through the gateway fully remotely. The SG2505P can also support connectivity from multiple ISPs through its multiple WAN ports and can select the strongest WAN connection in case of outages to offer uninterrupted internet access.
