## Description

The MikroTik E50UG is a wired network router, featuring 5 x Gigabit Ethernet ports and a full-sized USB port for extra storage. This E50UG improves upon the previous generations of E50UG by incorporating an upgraded CPU and an increase of RAM from 256MB to 512MB, delivering faster and more efficient operation for small businesses, home offices and boutique retail outlets.

MikroTik's E50UG is both compact and adaptable, offering wired connectivity for up to five devices through its five GbE RJ45 ports. For increased storage to stream high-quality media across multiple devices, the E50UG also features a full-sized USB-A port, and can be powered either through its 12-28V DC jack or via passive PoE.

This model of E50UG is one of MikroTik's Refresh range, incorporating updated hardware for  up to double the traffic routing performance from the previous generation of E50UG. In addition to the doubled RAM capacity from 256MB to 512MB MikroTik have also incorporated a modern ARM dual-core CPU to increase the router's processing power, leading to smoother and more responsive performance for traffic routing and connected devices.
