## Description

The TP-Link ER605 is a Gigabit VPN Gateway, featuring 1 x dedicated WAN port, 2 x LAN ports and 2 x switchable WAN/LAN ports with load balancing to optimise traffic flow. This compact, desk-mountable gateway supports a wide variety of VPNs, as well as advanced customisable security policies, and easy Zero Touch Provisioning and setup using the Omada management system.

The ER605 is both versatile and compact, offering Gigabit connectivity with load-balancing to leverage multi-line broadband and a suite of software and security features. The ER605 features five RJ45 Gigabit ports - one dedicated WAN, two dedicated LAN, and two switchable WAN/LAN ports either for LAN connectivity or for up to three WAN connections. In addition to its RJ45 LAN and WAN ports, the ER605 also includes a full-size USB-A port on the front of the unit  through which a 3G/4G modem can be connected, offering true resilience and redundancy even in case of a network failure.

Despite its compact size, the ER605 also features a varied suite of software and security features, to optimise both network performance and security. It's capable of supporting up to 20× LAN-to-LAN IPsec, 16× OpenVPN, 16× L2TP, and 16× PPTP secure VPN connections, as well as Deep Packet Inspection, customisable firewall rules, defence against DoS attacks and many more.

The ER605 can be easily provisioned, monitored managed through the Omada app, TP-Link's single-pane-of-glass virtual management interface, and can be desk-mounted for ease of access.
