HPE Aruba Networking's R8N88A is an entry-level, Layer 2 Managed switch, part of the Aruba CX 6000 series. This model has 24 x 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ports, 4 x 1G SFP Ports, 1 x USB-C Console Port and 1 x USB Type-A Host Port. With a switching capacity of 56 Gbps and a throughput capacity of 41.6 Mpps, this model offers strong, reliable performance.

The R8N88A is a switch designed for enterprise deployments, with fixed fans and a compact build - ensuring quiet performance within small office installations and SMBs. This model features a dual core ARM CPU functioning at 1.016 GHz for continuous performance.

The HPE R8N88A supports cloud-based and on-site management via Aruba Central, providing single pane of glass, unified network operations of wired, WLAN, SD-WAN and public cloud infrastructure.

This model supports a range of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching capabilities, including static IP routing, providing manually configured routes as well as Internet Group Management Protocol Controls, managing the flooding of multicast packets in a Layer 2 network.
