## Description

The Shelly BLU Distance is an ultrasonic distance-measuring device, able to operate simultaneously across both Bluetooth and Zigbee to connect to other Shelly devices. The Shelly BLU Distance can measure the distance between two points in real time and relay the measurements to the wider Shelly network, making them ideal for measuring water levels, aperture openings and more.

The Shelly BLU Distance is capable of measuring the distance between two points continuously every 30 seconds, with an accuracy of within 1mm; the measuring mechanism itself operates on the ultrasonic register, with the measurements then being communicated to the wider Shelly or general Smart Device network on Bluetooth and Zigbee. The Shelly BLU Distance can operate on distances between 25cm and 3.5m.

The BLU Distance is powered by a lithium battery sheathed in a protective casing designed specifically not to warp and affect the measurements in extreme temperatures (from 0 - 45°C), and supports a battery life of between two and three years depending on usage. In addition to the distance measurements, the BLU Distance also features a built-in vibration sensor, with vibration notifications sent instantly to your network.
