## Description

The Shelly Wave Door/Window is a smart device built to detect the opening and closing of doors and windows. This compact device also includes integrated sensors for both window and door tilt and light level for optimized operation and enhanced detection. The Shelly Wave Door/Window ZB sensor operates over the Zigbee protocol, allowing seamless integration with other ZigBee devices on the network.

Shelly's Door/Window Sensor automatically detects the opening/closing of any door or window as well as the light levels and angle of inclination through the embedded sensors within the compact device. Similar to the Shelly BLU Door/Window, this sensor can co-ordinate with other Shelly devices on the network to carry out scenes, for example: turn off the heating when the window is opened. Another way a scene can be used is for security measures - E.g. When a window/door is opened, a notification can be sent via the free Shelly app. This model can also wirelessly connect and communicate with other ZigBee smart devices on the network, expanding the capabilities of your ecosystem even further.

Furthermore, the Shelly Door/Window Sensor has low power consumption, meaning it has up to two years on a single charge. This sensor is also incredibly compact and comes in multiple colours to ensure it remains discrete and unobtrusive in your home.
