## Description

The Draytek VigorAP 805 (VAP805) is a high-performance access point, featuring WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology and both a 1G and a 2.5G ethernet port for reliable, high-speed wired connections. The VAP805 can deliver an aggregate speed of up to 3Gbps for 256 simultaneous clients, and can act as a root AP to manage other DrayTek mesh access points seamlessly from a single interface to cover an entire area with fast, dependable WiFi connectivity.

The DrayTek Vigor AP 805 (VAP805-K) is a high-performance desk-mounted WiFi 6 (802.11ax) access point, equally at home in small-to-medium sized offices as it is in demanding home network environments. Capable of delivering an aggregate WiFi 6 throughput of 3 Gbps across both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the AP805 features 2 x 3 MU-MIMO on both frequency radios to handle dense areas and demanding applications like 4K video streaming and conferencing. While the VAP805 would be a great fit for a home network or home office, it's also capable of managing up to 256 simultaneous connections and so would also be well-suited to most office networks or the hospitality sector.

In addition to its wireless capabilities, the VAP805-K features a 2.5G uplink to connect it to the network, and a 1G RJ45 port acting as a miniature switch to connect wired devices like printers, IP phones and PCs. Also incorporated are a suite of security features to maintain network safety like WPA3 encryption and varying security for each SSID, and full Mesh capabilities to eradicate any WiFi dead-zones.

The VAP805-K can also act as the root AP for a wider network of up to eight compatible Mesh VigorAPs and up to twenty access points, making it easy to provision, monitor and manage a wide ecosystem of APs across an entire site.
