## Description

The DrayTek VAP905-K is a high-performance WiFi 6 Mesh access point, delivering aggregate speeds of up to 3Gbps WiFi throughput across the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands and featuring both 1G and 2.5G RJ45 ports for speedy, dependable LAN connectivity. The AP905 can support up to 256 simultaneous clients and supports self-healing WiFi Mesh to eradicate WiFi dead-zones.

DrayTek's VAP905-K marks an advancement over the previous generation of AP, the VAP903-K, by featuring both WiFi 6 and 2.5GbE ethernet capabilities for high-speed wired and wireless connectivity. The VAP905-K can act both as a high-performance wireless access point and desktop-mounted 5-port network switch, featuring 4 x Gigabit LAN ports and 1 x 2.5GbE LAN port capable of supporting VoIP phones, IP surveillance equipment and a wide range of other devices.

The VAP905-K is natively compatible with Mesh technology, ensuring an even coverage of wireless connectivity throughout the space in which it's installed, and making it a great option for larger or awkward spaces like warehouses and factory floors as well as SMBs and home offices. Up to eight APs can be configured per Mesh Group, supporting up to three wired or wireless Mesh Hops per chain, with both Config Sync and Self Healing technology to speed up installation and optimise network resilience in case of failure. To further improve coverage, the AP905 includes two external dipole 5G and two external dipole 2.4G antennas
