Which Aruba Instant On 1430 Series Network Switch is Best for Me?

The 1430 series is Aruba Instant On's entry-level switch, a great solution for budget-conscious smaller offices, home networks, or public areas that don't expect too much traffic like coffee shops. The 1430 line are unmanaged, meaning they're the only line in Aruba's portfolio that can't be accessed and configured remotely from the management interface.

However, the 1430 does benefit from the advantages an unmanaged switch can have over their managed counterparts! For one thing, an unmanaged switch means that the plug-and-play setup and configuration process is extremely quick and simple, and there's absolutely no ongoing maintenance required - the 1430 series are ready straight out of the box to provide connectivity to your devices. The 1430 series is also fan-less for silent operation and support Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) to save energy by using less power during idle times without compromising performance.

The 1430 is available in 5, 8, 16, 24, or 26 port models, with Class 4 (PoE+) output support included on the 8 and 16 port models, and an internal power supply in the 8, 16, 24 and 26 port models. The 26-port model also includes two SFP high-speed fibre uplinks for superfast wired connectivity.
