Do I need Homey Pro to use Homey Energy?

The Homey Energy tab is available starting with Homey Pro firmware version 12.4.0 and Homey app version 9.2.0. It’s supported on Homey Pro (Early 2023), Homey Pro Mini, and Homey Cloud.

 

With the Homey Pro, Homey Pro Mini, or a Homey Premium subscription, you’ll have full access to all Homey Energy features - including compatibility with third-party energy meters.

 

If you're using the free tier of Homey Cloud, you can still monitor your total electricity, gas, and, in some regions, water usage in real time and over time when using the Homey Energy Dongle
