Why can't I connect my Shelly devices to my wireless network?
Shelly devices are only compatible with the 2.4 GHz band, not 5 GHz, so if you’re consistently unable to connect your Shelly devices to your network, it may be worth checking which channel your devices are trying to operate on. If you own a dual-band router - a router that can simultaneously connect to the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands - the router can sometimes 'force' Shelly devices onto the 5 GHz band, so it's often worth disabling the 5 GHz band for Shelly devices in the router settings if you're having trouble.
It could also be a case of entering the incorrect password, or the firewall settings of your router blocking your Shelly device’s connectivity to your network. If your router's firewall allows it, it's a good idea to whitelist each Shelly device's IP address in the router's firewall settings.
