Can I control roller shutters with Alexa?

Yes! Shelly has a number of different devices that can control your roller shutters depending on your install location. 

Any Shelly device with two channels on the same phase (the Shelly Plus 2PM or the Shelly Pro 2PM) can control a bi-directional motor like you’d find on motorised blinds or roller shutters in both directions, or the Shelly Pro Dual Cover/Shutter PM can control two roller shutters simultaneously. 

 

 

Once these devices are installed in your roller shutters, and you’ve linked your Alexa with your Shelly network by enabling the ‘Shelly Cloud’ skill in your Alexa’s interface, your roller shutters can now be fully voice controlled! Try saying ‘Alexa, set my roller shutters to 65%’, and Alexa will adjust your roller shutters to let in the perfect amount of light.
