The DrayTek V2865LAX-5G-K is a 5G multi-WAN firewall VPN router designed to offer a robust and secure networking solution for SMBs. Featuring dual-SIM slots unlocked to any network and WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology, the V2865LAX-5G-K is capable of maintaining multiple network connections simultaneously, and includes 5+1 LAN ports for improved quality of service in wired connections. The router's high-speed cellular connectivity and robust security features position it as an ideal solution for mission-critical networking infrastructure for SMBs, however its Gigabit-throughput WiFi 6 technology and VPN capabilities mean it can perform well in any deployment.
Description
The DreyTek Vigor V2865LAX-5G-K is capable of both superfast VDSL broadband, Ethernet-based FTTP fibre broadband, and high-speed 5G/LTE connectivity by virtue of its integrated 5G modem. Featuring WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology, the V2865LAX-5G-K offers dependable Gigabit WiFi for latency-sensitive applications like video conferencing and 4K ultra-HD streaming, and can simultaneously maintain a broadband and a 5G connection to maximise network reliability and speed. Its dual-SIM slots are unlocked to any network and support failover to maintain a consistent 5G connection.
Unlike the V2927LAX-5G-K which features 2 x WAN ethernet ports, the V2865LAX-5G-K features a DSL port for superfast fibre connection. Also included is 5+1 Gigabit LAN ports, enabling the linking of servers, PCs and network-attached storage directly to the router itself, and 4 x detachable LTE antennas.
The V2865LAX-5G-K is equipped with an extremely broad range of DrayTek's networking features and security protocols, offering up to 32 VPN tunnels for secure remote work, VDSL snd Ethernet load balancing, 8 LAN subnets with VLANs, and a sophisticated SPI firewall with content filtering. This router is also fully compatible with DrayTek's ACS3 remote management platform, offering centralised management and provisioning of the router and utility of DrayTek's powerful SD-WAN features.
