The DrayTek Vigor 2927LAX 5G Router is a sophisticated dual-ethernet Gigabit WAN router, featuring built-in 5G mobile broadband and WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology. The 2927LAX 5G can support a total aggregate firewall throughput of 1.8Gbps and also supports multiple WAN interfaces for greater network accessibility and redundancy, as well as ensuring constant connectivity with its integrated 5G/LTE modem supporting LTE Category 19. Combined with intelligent WAN load balancing and a sophisticated suite of security protocols, the 2927LAX 5G is perfectly positioned for SMEs requiring high-performance, robust networking infrastructure for mission-critical and bandwidth-hungry applications like HD 4K video streaming, as well as those who need consistent and uninterruptible connectivity like medical centres and surgeries, or Point of Sale.
Description
The 2927LAX-5G is DrayTek's first 5G/LTE router featuring a dual SIM slot and, in addition to its suite of advanced abilities, it's been engineered for seamless failover in case of any failure or outage of the broadband connection. In addition to the 5G/LTE capabilities (as well as being backward compatible with 4G/LTE), the 2927LAX-5G includes WiFi 6 AX3000 technology, providing gigabit over-the-air WiFi with dependable NAT throughput of up to 1.8Gbps.
As well as its high throughput and failover capabilities, the router also comes with some significant internal protocols like a Multi-WAN Load Balancing Firewall and built-in VPN server/client protocols such as OpenVPN, WireGuard and IPSec. Also supported are 8 LAN subnets with VLANs (port based / 802.1q), and 5+1 Gigabit LAN ports to which you can attach devices, servers and Network Attached Storage, or even use VLANs to supply Broadband and VPN connectivity to up to 8 separate networks.
The 2927LAX 5G also places an emphasis on security, with an included Firewall, Content Filtering and QoS (Quality of Service), 50 LAN-to-LAN & Remote Worker VPN tunnels, and can be remotely managed by VigorACS, DrayTek's remote Central Management System, allowing you to deploy, provision and monitor the router fully remotely.
