Like its counterpart, the Shelly BLU Button 1, the Shelly BLU Button 1 Tough can be programmed to activate individual appliances or smart scenes involving multiple devices - like, for instance, a 'movie night' scene which involves dimming the lights, lowering the blinds and adjusting the temperature.

The button itself offers multi-click support, meaning it can execute up to 4 pre-set actions or scenes with click combinations like single, double and long presses. The button operates with extremely low battery consumption thanks to its Bluetooth protocol - up to two years of function on a single battery - and features a near-instant response time of less than 1 second.

This version of the Shelly BLU Button is also ruggedised, featuring an IP54 rating to protect against dust and water jets, and also resisting both impact and shock.
