The Seagate Skyhawk ST8000VE001 is an 8TB hard drive, optimised for use in video analytics and IP surveillance systems. Designed for use with a Network Video Recorder (NVR), the ST8000VE001 offers a reliable storage solution for IP surveillance footage.
Description
The Seagate SkyHawk ST8000VE001 is optimised for use with NVRs such as the UNVR, able to store up to 8TB of surveillance footage. The drive can support unlimited drive bays, is compatible with up to 32 AI channels, and features CMR recording technology for faster read and write times.
The hard drive can support a workload of up to 180TB per year, features a SATA6 interface and can support up to 64 HD cameras as well as delivering zero dropped frames due to its ImagePerfect AI support. The ST8000VE001 also includes RV sensors for easy scalability.
Also included is SkyHawk Health Management, a sophisticated suite of data security and reliability protocols that focus on prevention, intervention and recovery.
