The Shelly Wave Motion is a Z-Wave operated motion detector, capable of detecting movement with a response time of less than 300ms. The Wave Motion features up to 400m detection range with adjustable distance and sensitivity, and can send alerts to the connected Z-Wave hub for smart routines with multiple devices or directly to your phone for enhanced home security.
Description
The Shelly Wave Motion is a versatile motion detector, communicating with a connected Z-Wave hub for home protection and smart home automation. The Wave Motion incorporates the latest Z-Wave chip generation and is compatible with any Z-Wave certified hub and device, with easy adoption and integration into a pre-existing Z-Wave installation. The Wave Motion also includes a built-in illumination sensor, capable of detecting a change in brightness of the surroundings.
Once the Wave Motion is successfully integrated into a Z-Wave ecosystem, the motion sensor can either detect movement and send instant alerts for home protection, or work as part of a routine - for example, to turn on the lights or open the blinds when motion is detected.
The Wave Motion has a battery life of up to two years depending on usage, and supports a detection range of up to 40m.
