The CCR2004-16G-2S+PC from MikroTik is a 16 port Cloud Core Router with 2 SFP+ cages for 10G uplink capabilities that, gives you all the power and performance but without any of the background noise thanks to its passive, rather than fan, cooling.

Description

MikroTik's CCR2004-16G-2S+PC features 16 x Gigabit RJ45 ports, capable of supporting compatible devices like access points, VoIP phones and IP cameras, with high-speed network connectivity. In addition to standard RJ45 connections, the CCR2004-16G-2S+PC also includes two 10G SFP+ cages for superfast fibre uplinks.

Each group of eight RJ45 ports and both SFP cages have a 10G full-duplex line running directly into the CPU, eliminating switching bottlenecks in busier networks. To handle traffic loads, the CCR2004 incorporates a powerful Annapurna Labs CPU, which is both faster and quieter than the previous CCR1009-generation switches.

For energy efficiency, reliability and near-silent running, the CCR2004-16G-2S+PC features an innovative fanless design, with a heat-sink being incorporated into the chassis of the switch itself. This switch can be easily rack-mounted with the included rack-mount ears.
