The MikroTik CCR2116-12G-4S+ is designed to support Enterprise-level networks, for ISPs and large businesses alike; its array of Gigabit ports and superfast fibre 10G connections minimises network bottlenecking and supports load-balancing, and the powerful 16-core 2GHz CPU delivers a 15% increase in single-core performance over the previous generation of router. Each group of four ports features a separate full-duplex connection to the switching chip, meaning dramatically improving performance under heavy loads, and meaning the CCR2116-12G-4S+ can deliver switch-like performance under most circumstances as well as high-performance routing.

The CCR2116-12G-4S+ has two AC ports for power-supply redundancy, meaning that it'll continue to function even in case of a power outage - great for supporting critical infrastructure. For expansion, this router also features an M.2 PCIe slot, as well as a Gigabit RJ45 port connected directly to the CPU for easy management.
