The Ubiquiti UnIFi USW-PRO-MAX-16 is a 16-port Layer 3 network switch, including 4 x 2.5GbE ports and 2 x 10G SFP+ ports, with Ubiquiti's Etherlighting technology for easy troubleshooting. The USW-PRO-MAX-16 is encased in a compact chassis and includes a silent, fanless cooling system, as well as a sophisticated suite of both layer 2 and 3 networking features. Both physically smaller and at a more budget-friendly price point than its larger counterparts such as the USW-PRO-MAX-48, the USW-PRO-MAX-16 lends itself well to startups and smaller offices who don't require as much raw switching power but still need sophisticated and comprehensive networking features.
Description
The USW-PRO-MAX-16 features a total of 16 ports, with 12 x GbE RJ45 ports, 4 x 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, and 2 x 10G SFP+ ports for extremely high-speed data transfer. These ports amount to a total switching capacity of 84Gbps, with a non-blocking throughput total of 42Gbps. All ports are compatible with Ubiquiti's Etherlighting technology, illuminating ports that illuminate to indicate port location, speed and VLAN/network at a glance.
Included in the USW-PRO-MAX-16's compact frame is a comprehensive suite of layer 2 and 3 switching features such as IGMP snooping, STP/RSTP, port isolation, a dedicated Voice VLAN for smoother VoIP calls, and DHCP and static routing for locally-managed networks. This switch also includes a 1.3" touchscreen for easy management and troubleshooting.
The USW-PRO-MAX-16 is also fully compatible with UnIFi, Ubiquiti's remote management and provisioning platform, offering an extensive degree of remote oversight and management over your Ubiquiti network.
