The U7-PRO-MAX is a ceiling-mounted access point with WiFi 7 (802.11be) technology, including 8 spatial streams and support for the less-congested 6 GHz band, offering extremely high throughput rates. The U7-PRO-MAX is able to offer this high-speed connectivity to 500+ connected devices simultaneously across a maximum coverage area of 1,750 ft², and is also capable of offering real-time spectral analysis for enhanced channel selection. With the combination of superfast WiFi 7, PoE-In support and 500+ client capacity, the U7-PRO-MAX is an ideal access point for larger workspaces, university campuses, or any large-scale deployment.
Description
The Ubiquiti U7-PRO-MAX represents an advancement on its counterpart, the U7-PRO, offering 8 spatial streams instead of 6, a greater area of coverage, and support for 500+ devices instead of 300+. Throughput is also improved, with this access point offering a total aggregate data throughput rate of 15.1 Gbps. The U7-PRO-MAX also supports the relatively uncongested 6 GHz band, and supports 2x2 MIMO on the 2.4 and 6 GHz bands and 4x4 MIMO on the 5 GHz.
The U7-PRO-MAX has also introduced real-time spectral analysis through UniFi Network 8.2.93 and higher, offering enhanced channel selection and real-time network reporting. Other software features include 802.1Q VLAN support, advanced QoS and guest traffic isolation.
This access point offers both wall and ceiling mounting options, and can be powered by 802.11at PoE+ through its 2.5GbE RJ45 port.
