The Seagate Skyhawk ST24000VE002 is a hard drive offering 24TB of storage space, optimised for storing footage recorded by an IP surveillance solution. Designed for use with a Network Video Recorder (NVR), the ST24000VE002 offers a reliable storage solution for IP surveillance footage.
Description
The Seagate SkyHawk ST24000VE002 is optimised for use with NVRs such as the UNVR, able to store up to 24TB of surveillance footage. The drive represents an Enterprise-class hard drive from Seagate, supporting 512 MB of cache data and being helium-filled, allowing for faster data read/write times.
The hard drive can support a workload of up to 550TB per year, features a SATA6 interface and can support up to 64 HD cameras as well as delivering zero dropped frames due to its ImagePerfect AI support. The ST24000VE002 also includes RV sensors for easy scalability, and can support unlimited drive bays.
Also included is SkyHawk Health Management, a sophisticated suite of data security and reliability protocols that focus on prevention, intervention and recovery.
