Grandstream GWN7806P 48-Port PoE Network Switch

The Grandstream GWN7806P is a switch engineered to support mission-critical network infrastructure, able to provide both high-speed network connectivity and dependable PoE delivery through a single Ethernet cable to any connected device. The GWN7806P features 38 x gigabit RJ45 ports, and also includes 6 x SFP+ ports for high speed fibre uplinks with a full switching capacity of 216Gbps and a total non-blocking throughput of 108Gbps. Additionally, the GWN7806P incorporates a number of sophisticated softwares and features to optimise performance like spanning-tree switching infrastructure, a VLAN virtual interface, port priority and capacity for up to 32,000 static MAC addresses.

In addition to its switching capabilities, the GWN7806P can also provide up to 30W of PoE per port (to a maximum of 400W) to connected devices such as access points, IP phones and IP cameras, with auto-sensing ports and overvoltage protection. Also embedded into the slim chassis is a redundant 470W power supply that will auto-activate in case of power failure, allowing the GWN7806P to be deployed in mission-critical installations where avoiding downtime is essential.

Coupled with the hardware specifications is a suite of L2+ software features designed to optimise security and performance of connected devices, such as IGMP port snooping, 27 link aggregation and a user-hierarchical management structure and password protection. The GWN7806P also features illuminating LEDs for at-a-glance monitoring of port status, and can be either desktop or rack-mounted.
