Description

The MikroTik CRS310-1G-5S-4S+IN is a variant of MikroTik's well-known netFiber 9 switch, widely favoured by small and medium ISPs for its dependable 10 Gigabit fibre connections spanning up to 100 meters. This switch represents an indoor version offering the same functionality, featuring five 1G SFP ports, four 10G SFP+ ports, and an extra Gigabit Ethernet port. This switch does feature some prominent upgrades over the netFiber 9 however, including a modern ARM v7 CPU, 256 MB of RAM, and improved cooling, while the new Marvell switch-chips ensure exceptional performance.

Designed for easy integration into standard 1U racks for streamlined organisation, the CRS310 delivers the expected power of a rackmount device, featuring hardware offloaded VLAN-filtering and even hardware offloaded Layer-3 routing. The Gigabit Ethernet port offers direct connectivity to the switch chip, ensuring full gigabit speeds and supporting PoE-in for added powering flexibility, particularly in challenging locations.
