The Ubiquiti UniFi USW-ULTRA is a layer 2 managed network switch, featuring 8 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and supporting a variety of mounting options. The USW-ULTRA features PoE capacity on all 8 of its network ports, with 7 supplying PoE+ and the final port supplying PoE++, offering power delivery to even the most power-hungry devices like IP surveillance cameras or VoIP phones. The variety of power delivery options and high-throughput data transfer, coupled with the device's compact form-factor, render the USW-ULTRA a powerful option for SMBs for whom network connectivity is a priority, as well as boutique hotels or retail stores that require robust, high-speed network infrastructure.
Description
Despite its deceptively small chassis, the USW-ULTRA is capable of 16Gbps switching capacity by virtue of its 8 Gigabit Ethernet network ports, offering high-speed wired throughput. PoE+ or PoE++ is included on every port, supporting a total PoE budget of 42W for any connected devices.
The USW-ULTRA includes a suite of advanced management capabilities through its intuitive user interface, offering sophisticated layer 2 features like port isolation and mirroring, flow control, and jumbo frames for extremely high-speed transfer of large file sizes. Also on offer are guest portal and hotspot functionalities, enhancing network security and accessibility for public deployments.
Also compatible with wall-mounting, the USW-ULTRA compounds its versatility through being extremely light and compact, which, in conjunction with its advanced PoE capabilities, widens the scope of possible network deployments for maximum flexibility.
