The Ubiquiti USW-MISSION-CRITICAL is a layer 2 network switch featuring 9 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and supporting both PoE+ and PoE++. Intended to provide critical networking infrastructure, the USW-MISSION-CRITICAL includes an integrated 368Wh lithium-ion battery from which it can provide uninterruptible power to up to 8 devices simultaneously, even in the event of a power outage.
Description
The USW-MISSION-CRITICAL is designed for Enterprise-grade networking infrastructure, providing busier networks like larger offices, hotels or healthcare centres with uninterruptible switching capacity. The switch contains an integrated 368Wh lithium-ion backup battery, as well as both an AC and DC power input with safety latches to prevent any inadvertent disconnection.
The USW-MISSION-CRITICAL includes 9 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, 4 of which can support PoE+ and 4 of which can support PoE++, offering reliable and uninterruptible power delivery to devices like IP cameras, VoIP phones, network routers or access control units. The unit offers a total uninterruptible PoE budget of 120W, and a switching capacity of 18Gbps.
Also included is a 1.3" touchscreen for easy monitoring and management and a suite of Layer 2 features like port isolation, IGMP snooping, STP/RSTP with priorities and port-level disable, and Voice VLAN for increased stability in VoIP calls.
