MikroTik's Chateau LTE18 ax is a versatile and robust network router, offering both dependable, high-speed WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and cellular connectivity by virtue of an embedded Micro-SIM slot. This makes the Chateau a great option for small-to-medium networks supporting mission-critical infrastructure like PoS kiosks or medical deployments, as the router can automatically fail over to a cellular connection in the event of complete network failure. This edition of the Chateau also supports 4x4 MU-MIMO on the LTE frequencies, meaning it can support client-dense environments with minimal congestion.

In addition to its wireless capabilities, the Chateau LTE18 features four Gigabit RJ45 ports to connect compatible devices, as well as a 2.5G port for the highest-speed wired connections. It also includes a USB-A slot mounted on the front of the device, capable of attaching modems or more storage.

The Chateau LTE18 supports VPNs, QoS, intricate and fully customisable firewalls and IPSec hardware acceleration, as well as VLANs for larger networks. These can be easily configured from MikroTik's proprietary management software, RouterOS, which is included for free with purchase of the device itself.
