Ubiquiti UniFi Express 7 WiFi 7 10G Cloud Gateway (UX7)

The UX7 is the latest Cloud Gateway from Ubiquiti, marking an advancement on the previous generation of gateway like the UX, with upgraded hardware, WiFi capacity, security and networking features. The UX7 can deliver an aggregate WiFi speed of 10688 Mbps across the 2.4, 5 and 6GHz bands, for 300 connections across an area of 160 m² (1,750 ft²). To support this WiFi throughput, the UX7 incorporates a 10G RJ45 WAN port on the rear of the unit, as well as a 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN port for access points, PCs and other wired devices.

In addition to its WiFi capabilities, the UX7 can simplify and streamline an entire UniFi installation of up to 30 devices by acting as a UniFi gateway; this facilitates easy management of IP cameras, access points, smart doorbells and any other UniFi device on the network.

The UX7 also features a wide variety of improved software and security features; these include a full stateful application-aware layer 7 firewall to maintain network security, content filtering and automated intrusion detection. For remote working, the gateway can support a license-free SD-WAN with a site-to-site VPN, and incorporates advanced QoS, multicast DNS and a customisable DHCP server.
