The UniFi UK-ULTRA "Swiss Army Knife" WiFi 5 (802.11ac) dual-band Access Point is a compact indoor/outdoor PoE access point, featuring a weatherproof IPX6 rating, superfast Gigabit Ethernet uplinks, and a versatile range of mounting options. With two RP-SMA connectors for long-range external connectors and the ability to manage over 200 clients simultaneously, the UK-ULTRA is a great solution for indoor or outdoor deployments, being as well suited as an access point for a busy office environment as it is in an outdoor seating area or as part of a long-range point-to-point solution.
Description
Nicknamed the 'Swiss Army Knife' because of its robustness and versatility, the UniFi UK-ULTRA can connect over 200 devices simultaneously to WiFi 5 (802.11ac) through its 2x2 MIMO antenna configuration, as well as coming equipped with a pair of RSMA connectors where a external antenna can be connected to increase the transmitter's range. Supporting 4 spatial streams with a 115m² coverage for just the internal antenna, the UK-ULTRA offers consistent and fast coverage for a huge variety of deployment situations.
The UK-ULTRA also includes a diverse range of mounting options, with wall, ceiling or pole options, as well as being IPX6 rated, meaning that it's resistant to water jets from any direction, as well as wind-resistant to forces up to 33.2 N at 200 km/h. The UK-ULTRA can provide the responsiveness and security of an indoor access point as well as the versatility of ruggedised, weather-resistant models.
The UK-ULTRA is also compatible with Ubiquiti's UniFi central management system, able to integrate seamlessly into your UniFi network and can be monitored and managed from a single interface. For more info about which products to best manage your UniFi setup, take a look at our FAQ!
