The DrayTek Vigor 2928be-5G delivers next-generation connectivity for demanding small to medium enterprise networks, combining flexible multi-WAN routing with integrated cellular capability. Equipped with a high-speed 5G/4G Cat 19 modem alongside dual nano-SIM slots and eSIM support, the router provides resilient mobile failover and multi-operator redundancy without the need for additional cellular dongles.

Built to handle intensive network loads, the router delivers up to 8.3 Gbps NAT throughput and features versatile multi-gigabit interfaces, including a 10G SFP+ fibre cage, a dedicated 10GbE port, and a 2.5GbE connection that can operate flexibly across WAN and LAN modes. Comprehensive traffic management policies, session-based load balancing, and route failover maintain continuous network uptime during ISP outages.

Wireless performance is powered by dual-band BE7200 WiFi 7 (802.11be), delivering link rates of up to 5764 Mbps on 5 GHz and 1376 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Featuring Multi-Link Operation (MLO), Multiple Resource Units (MRU), and Zero-Wait DFS, it enhances transmission efficiency, reduces connection latency, and delivers reliable wireless performance in dense client environments.

For secure inter-site communication and hybrid working, the Vigor 2928be-5G terminates up to 50 concurrent VPN tunnels across IPsec, WireGuard, and OpenVPN protocols. Extensive security features include an AI-assisted SPI firewall, cloud-driven URL and IP reputation filtering, port knocking, and Zero Trust ready Identity and Access Management (IAM). The unit can be centrally provisioned and monitored via VigorACS 3 or act as a virtual AP and switch controller for DrayTek access points and switches.
