The Shelly Wave i4 LR is an input reader device (no built-in relay) that allows you to manually control other Z-Wave devices, for example through a multi-button switch. This device supports multi-click - meaning it can allow users to activate up to 16 actions. This model is also designed with Z-Wave Long Range technology, meaning it is engineered for greater coverage and reliability over the Z-Wave protocol.
Description
Shelly's Wave i4 LR is a reworked version of the previous Shelly Qubino Wave i4that is designed to enable a strong connection even over distances exceeding 1km! This input reader is fitted with the latest technology: Z-Wave 800 Series, improving distance, battery life and security.
Similar to all other Shelly devices, this device is extremely energy efficient as it only uses up to 0.2W of power - meaning your power consumption won't be largely impacted. The Shelly Wave i4 LR features dual Z-Wave frequency options, users can choose between 864 MHz (ZWLR) and 868.4 MHz (Z-Wave Plus).
***A gateway or smart hub is not included and is required to configure Z-Wave Plus devices. A ZWLR-compatible gateway is mandatory for a device to operate in a ZWLR setting.
