The Shelly EM Gen4 is a WiFi, Bluetooth and Zigbee operated smart energy meter engineered to be retrofitted into pre-existing devices to monitor energy usage. For example, you can install your Shelly EM Gen4 into a lamp to monitor power consumption and can be integrated into Shelly ecosystems to create smart scenes working along with other Shelly devices to turn off the lamp once an energy usage threshold has been reached.

Shelly's EM Gen4 features even more connectivity than the previous Shelly EM Gen3 with multi-protocol connectivity over Bluetooth 5, WiFi 6 & Zigbee as well as being Matter-certified with "out of the box" connections. Additionally, this device features upgraded hardware with a powerful new chip supporting up to 16 MB flash memory ensuring at least 30 days of local data logs at 1-minute resolution.
This single-phase, two-channel measurement device supports up to 2 current transformers for contactless measuring. It also supports even more compatible current transformers in 50 A, 80 A and 120 A options.
With upgraded safety features, the Shelly EM Gen4 offers protection against overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent and overloads.
