The AFI-ALN-R features a dual-band radio with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11ax radios optimised for Wi-Fi 6 performance and backwards compatibility with previous Wi-Fi standards.

Description

The stylishly designed AmpliFi Alien brings the revolutionary advantages of Wi-Fi 6 technology to your home. Boost your network capacity by 4x and expand network coverage by 2x, whilst reducing battery drain on your power hungry mobile client devices devices.

AmpliFi Alien comes outfitted with 2.4/5 GHz WiFi 6 and 5 GHz WiFi 5 radios. Combined, these deliver 7685 Mbps total capacity and 16 spatial streams from a single AmpliFi Alien unit. Easily mesh multiple units over the air to build virtually unlimited WiFi capacity in your home.

The vibrant touchscreen displays network status and provides instant controls. For your convenience, the display and green LED ring automatically turn off.

The AmpliFi Alien is a powerful and secure router with a single Gigabit internet interface and internal power supply. Each Alien router has an integrated LAN switch with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports. Allowing you to deliver Gigabit Ethernet connectivity into any room without the need to run additional cable. Use Wi-Fi 6 for wireless connectivity and the LAN ports for local wired connectivity.

AFI-ALN-R is optimised to provide your home network with the highest possible performance regardless of how many client devices are connected simultaneously. Utilising MU-MIMO and OFDMA for communication across twelve Wi-Fi 6 spatial streams.
