Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Gateway Max (UCG-MAX)

The UCG-MAX represents an advancement on the UCG-ULTRA, and offers a stronger and more adaptable portfolio of features such as 1.5Gbps IDS/IPS throughput compared to the UCG-ULTRA's 1 Gbps. In addition to faster throughput, the Cloud Gateway Max is also fully 2.5GbE compatible across each of its 4 x LAN and 1 x WAN ports, and features significantly improved on-board storage thanks to an integrated 512 GB NVMe SSD, in contrast with the UCG-ULTRA's 16 GB.

In addition to the broad range of hardware improvements, the UCG-MAX has retained all software gateway features from the previous generation such as a redundant WAN with failover and load-balancing for mission-critical connectivity, WiFi QoS (Quality of Service) with any connected UniFi access points, and additional internet failover with LTE in case the primary network connection fails. The UCG-MAX also enjoys next-generation security features like a full stateful firewall with flexible application-aware firewall rules, VLAN/subnet-based traffic segmentation and signature-based threat detection.

The UCG-MAX also includes both an Ethernet and Bluetooth management interface, a status display screen and blinking Ethernet indicator lights for easy troubleshooting at a glance. Like the rest of Ubiquiti's UniFi portfolio, this gateway is also fully compatible with Ubiquiti's remote management and provisioning software/
