The Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Campus Switch (ECS) is a Layer 3 network switch, designed to underpin the most demanding and traffic-intensive networks such as universities, data centres and enterprise campuses. Part of Ubiquiti's Enterprise range, the ECS features an aggregate switching capacity of 460 Gbps (230 Gbps of which is non-blocking throughput) divided between 16 x 10GbE RJ45 ports, 8 x 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, and 2 x 25G SFP28 ports for extremely high-throughput fibre uplinks for compatible modules.

In addition to the significant switching capacity, each of the ECS's 24 x RJ45 ports can deliver up to 90W PoE+++ (802.3bt), up to a maximum of 1050W aggregate PoE budget to power and connect even the most intensive devices and systems like full IP surveillance systems, building-wide access control protocols and intricate VoIP networks.

For supporting mission-critical networking infrastructure, the ECS also features two hot-swappable AC/DC 600W power modules for continued operation even in case of catastrophic power failure, as well as a rich and extensive portfolio of layer 2 and layer 3 switching features like port isolation, voice VLANs, MAC address blocking, static routing between local networks and DHCP for locally-managed networks.
