The LPDA-92 directional antenna
The LPDA-92 is a wideband directional antenna that covers all international cellular, mobile and wireless data bands including GSM900/GSM1800/UMTS/LTE as well as extended cellular and WiMAX bands such as European/USA "Digital Dividend bands" and 2.3-2.7GHz licensed and unlicensed data bands. Therefore, the LPDA-92's configuration is suitable for various wireless communications systems.
This antenna is unique in its combination of ultra wide-band operator with a consistent high-gain performance. It has been successfully used in extreme weather environments in Africa and Europe with close to zero failures.
LPDA-0092-LTE antenna bundle
The LPDA-0092-LTE pack is a bundle of 2 x LPDA-92 antennas with a BRKT-33 mounting bracket, giving MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) LTE effect. This bundle is a firm favorite in areas where operators are having signal challenges and is ideal for applications using the GSM network (LTE/HSPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS).
Antennas to consider
The LPDA-92 directional antenna is great for when users are struggling with 4G and need a better signal. Also, it is a great choice when users need greater gain (+11dBi) than the XPOL-2 directional antenna (+9 dBi), for example. The LPDA-92 by itself is a SISO (Single-input single-output) antenna, so will not be able to take advantage of the additional speeds offered by LTE, but the kit LPDA-0092-LTE would be a great LTE option because it will have MIMO capabilities.
