The Shelly Wave Plug LR (Long Range) is a plug-and-play smart plug from Shelly, operating over the Z-Wave network and offering instant remote control over any connected device. This new Long-Range version of the plug can maintain connections across distances of over a kilometer, and can be instantly and easily adopted into an existing Z-Wave network.
Description
The Wave Plug Long Range is specifically designed to be plug-and-play - once the plug has been adopted, just plug in a standard electrical appliance, and that appliance can be remotely controlled or added into customizable schedules and scenes.
Shelly's Long-Range Wave Plug is capable of handling power supplies of up to 3000W at 13A, making it compatible with a broad range of standard electrical appliances like lighting, heating, security cameras, and almost any other electrical device. By being Z-Wave compatible, the Shelly Wave Plug LR can be easily detected by a Z-Wave hub and instantly adopted into an existing network using SmartStart.
The plug also features detailed power monitoring technology, and can report on the energy draw of any connected appliance in real-time with an accuracy to within 1%.
***Please note:: A Z-Wave hub, such as the Homey Bridge or Homey Pro, is required to adopt and use the Shelly Wave Smart Plug LR. Z-Wave hub not included.
