The Grandstream GWN7604 is a combined WiFi 6 (802.11ax) access point and compact PoE network switch, able to provide an aggregate throughput of up to 3 Gbps across both the 2.4 and 5GHz bands to connected devices. In addition to high-performance wireless connectivity, the GWN7604 also features 4 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, two of which can deliver up to 12W to connected devices. Both compact and versatile, the GWN7604 is an ideal choice for home offices and startups looking for an intuitive and affordable way to increase wired and wireless networking capacity.
Description
Grandstream's GWN7604 access point is capable of delivering an aggregate throughput of 3Gbps across the 2.4 and 5GHz bands for up to 256 devices across a range of 100m. To improve coverage and signal reliability, the GWN7604 features 2x2:2 MU-MIMO on the 2.4GHz band and 3x3:2 MU-MIMO on the 5GHz band, offering dependable WiFi 6 connectivity across a wide area.
In addition to its wireless capabilities, the GWN7604 also features some switching capacity, with 4 x Gigabit RJ45 ports for wired connections. Port 1 is an autosensing uplink through which the GWN7604 can be powered by PoE or PoE+, with ports 3 and 4 able to deliver a total of 12W PoE to connected devices. Through this built-in network switch, the GWN7604 can easily simplify network installation for small offices, startups and hospitality businesses like hotels and restaurants, delivering both wired and wireless connectivity options and broadening the range of potential deployments beyond the number of available power outlets.
In addition to the hardware and wireless features, the GWN7604 also offers a suite of software features focused on quality and security such as advanced QoS and an anti-hacking secure boot.
