Draytek VigorSwitch P2282X 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Network Switch

Like its predecessor, the VSP2280X-K, DrayTek's VSP2282X-K features 24 x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 x 10G SFP+ cages for high-speed uplink and fibre connectivity. This switch also offers a total aggregate power budget of 400W PoE+ on each of its 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports (In contrast to the VSP2280X-K, which only offers standard PoE), meaning it's capable of providing both power and network connection to energy-hungry devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points.

The VSP2282X-K also places an emphasis on power redundancy, offering both DC and AC powering options for continuous, uninterrupted connectivity even in the event of a power outage. This redundancy positions this switch especially well for critical deployments such as healthcare centres, Point of Sale (PoS) kiosks and, combined with its generous 400W PoE+ budget, offers reliable support for even the most complex and demanding WAN and IoT networks.

As well as power redundancy and PoE+ delivery, this switch also includes a comprehensive of L2+ networking features like 802.1q VLAN support (tag, port and MAC-based) with VLAN routing and dedicated Voice VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS), port mirroring and link aggregation, and support for both IPv4 and IPv6. Subject to a software update, this switch can also support stacking with other P2282X switches, offering instantly scalable switching power.

This switch is also fully compatible with ACS3, DrayTek's central management service that offers remote provisioning, monitoring and management of all DrayTek products on a network, but can also function perfectly as a standalone device.
