The TP-Link LS105GP is a 5-port unmanaged Gigabit desktop network switch, featuring gigabit auto-negotiation to provide up to 10 Gbps switching capacity, and 4 PoE+ ports to provide power and network connectivity to power-hungry devices like IP cameras, access points, and IP phones via a single cable. The LS105GP features a fanless design, engineered both to reduce power consumption and ensures silent operation, as well as a robust metal casing and a variety of desk/wall mounting options, positioning the unit as a solution for budget and space-conscious small businesses or residential properties looking to easily expand their network.
Description
The TP-Link LS105GP includes five gigabit ethernet ports providing up to 10Gbps switching capacity, featuring both auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX technology to ensure speedy and reliable data transmission, as well as MAC address auto-learning, IGMP snooping and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control.
The LS105GP also offers an 802.3af/at-compliant PoE+ budget of 65W (up to 30W output per port), simplifying IoT deployments in locations with insufficient power outlets and reducing cable clutter. The unit's PoE+ capacity can extend over a range of 250m through TP-Link's Extend Mode (offered on ports 1-2), ideal for surveillance camera installations to cover a wide area. The LS105GP also supports a PoE+ Auto Recovery feature, automatically rebooting dropped or unresponsive connected devices.
The compact chassis is comprised of a durable metal casing with a discrete form-factor, and can be wall-mounted to most efficiently utilise the space and reduce clutter.
