VigorSwitch G2282X 24-Port L2+ Managed 10G Switch

The VigorSwitch G2282X offers an extremely high throughput, either through its 24 x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports or the 4 SFP+ 10Gbps fibre uplinks, for an aggregate switching capacity of 128Gbps. As well as its superfast connectivity speeds and high switching capacity the G2282X has been engineered to be as robust as possible; the included DC12V redundant power socket offers continued operation even in case of full AC power failure, and the switch's advanced Layer 3 features, such as performing routing functions for VLANs and the ability to function as a DHCP server, ensure enhanced network efficiency and uninterrupted LAN connectivity even if the gateway is offline. These redundancy considerations mean that the G2282X is not only powerful but reliable, and can comfortably function as a linchpin for critical networks with high, complex traffic demands.

The G2282X also offers rigorous security features like 802.1x port authentication DHCP snooping, IP source guard and an access control list, as well as fully integrated IP conflict prevention to protect your network from ARP spoofing and unknown DHCP servers. Also included are automatic separate VLANs for voice and surveillance, with the switch being able to recognise traffic from IP camera and IP phones unilaterally and add a CoS tag for QoS prioritisation, allowing you to improve the performance of critical voice and surveillance traffic effortlessly.

While the G2282X can function perfectly as a standalone switch it's also fully compatible with VigorACS3, allowing you to provision, manage and monitor it fully remotely with zero-touch deployment and provisioning, and offering increased visibility over functions like VoIP, web applications and hotspot clients.
