DrayTek Vigor VAP962C WiFi 6 Mesh Wireless PoE Access Point

Offering significant increases in both WiFi speeds and functionality over its predecessor, the VAP960C-K, the DrayTek Vigor AP962C provides AX3000 WiFi 6 technology for an aggregate dual-band throughput performance of up to 3Gbps over the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The AP962C is capable of delivering these speeds to high-density environments, with a maximum of 256 connected clients by virtue of the access point's 2X2 MIMO antennas, and is mesh-compatible with other DrayTek access points to maximise coverage throughout the installation space.

The VAP962C also includes a 2.5GbE port for high-speed wired connectivity through which it can also be powered by IEEE 802.3at PoE+, reducing the necessity for cabling and broadening the range of potential deployments by not requiring a power outlet. The VAP962C can be mounted in a variety of locations, with wall and ceiling mounting on offer through the included mounting plate.

DrayTek have also furnished this access point with a sophisticated suite of security protocols including WPA3 connection encryption and SSIDs, and also offers master AP management - an interface by which users can manage up to eight mesh VigorAPs and as many as 20 access points with provisioning and AP monitoring. This access point is also fully compatible with VigorACS3, DrayTek's central management platform.
